🇬🇪🇺🇸 GEO/ENG🌊 საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტის საგამოძიებო მედიალაბის - IML-ის ორგანიზებით, რეგიონში პირველი, უპრეცედენტო ფესტივალი - Open Black Sea 2026 გაიმართება!
🇬🇪🇺🇦🇲🇩🇷🇴🇧🇬🇹🇷 ღონისძიება შავი ზღვის რეგიონის საგამოძიებო ჟურნალისტიკის წარმომადგენლებს უმასპინძლებს. შეკრების მთავარი მიზანი გარემოსდაცვითი ჟურნალისტიკის პოპულარიზაციაა. 2 დღის განმავლობაში საერთაშორისო ფესტივალი გააერთიანებს ჟურნალისტებს, რედაქტორებს, მკვლევრებსა და სტუდენტებს შავი ზღვის რეგიონის 6 ქვეყნიდან: საქართველო, უკრაინა, მოლდოვა, რუმინეთი, ბულგარეთი და თურქეთი.

🔹 დაფინანსების ალტერნატიული მოდელები — როგორ გახდეს საგამოძიებო ჟურნალისტიკა მდგრადი
🔹 პრაქტიკული ვორქშოპები
🔹 წიგნის პრეზენტაცია "Story-Based Inquiry", რომელსაც ავტორი, მარკ ლი ჰანტერი პირადად წარადგენს. ასევე გაიმართება წიგნის ქართული თარგმანის პრეზენტაცია, რომელსაც საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტი გამოსცემს;
🔹 დისკუსიები და რეალური ქეისები — დოკუმენტური ფილმის ჩვენება და საუბარი მნიშვნელოვან კითხვაზე: რა იცვლება რეალურად გამოძიების გამოქვეყნების შემდეგ?
🔹 Emerging Voices ჰაკათონი — საგამოძიებო იდეების კონკურსი სტუდენტებისა და ჟურნალისტებისთვის, პირველი, მეორე და მესამე ადგილებისთვის პრიზებითა და შემდგომი სარედაქციო მხარდაჭერით.
🤝 ფესტივალის ფარგლებში ხელი მოეწერება დეკლარაციას შავი ზღვის აუზის ქვეყნების საგამოძიებო ჟურნალისტიკის ქსელის დაფუძნების შესახებ. ქსელის სამდივნო საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტში განთავსდება.
👥 ფესტივალი ღიაა ჟურნალისტებისთვის, რედაქტორებისთვის, ფრილანსერებისთვის, სტუდენტებისთვის, ლექტორებისთვის, ფაქტჩეკერებისთვის, OSINT-ისა და მონაცემთა სპეციალისტებისთვის, ასევე სამოქალაქო და საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციების წარმომადგენლებისა და დიპლომატებისთვის.

🌊 The University of Georgia’s Investigative Media Lab (IML) is organizing Open Black Sea 2026 — the first and unprecedented investigative journalism festival of its kind in the region!
🇬🇪🇺🇦🇲🇩🇷🇴🇧🇬🇹🇷 The festival will bring together investigative journalism professionals from across the Black Sea region. Over two days, the international festival will unite journalists, editors, researchers, and students from six Black Sea countries: Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, and Türkiye.
🎯 The main theme of the festival is:
“From Crisis to Solutions — An Investigative Path to Survival and Renewal”
❓ What can you expect at Open Black Sea 2026?
🔹 Alternative funding models — exploring how investigative journalism can become sustainable and less dependent on grants;
🔹 Practical workshops — hands-on sessions focused on investigative journalism tools and techniques;
🔹 Book presentation — Mark Lee Hunter, author of Story-Based Inquiry, will personally present the book. The Georgian translation, published by the University of Georgia, will also be presented;
🔹 Discussions and real-world cases — a documentary screening followed by a discussion around an important question: What really changes after an investigation is published?
🔹 Emerging Voices Hackathon — an investigative ideas competition for students and journalists, with prizes for first, second, and third place and follow-up editorial support.
🤝 As part of the festival, a declaration will be signed to establish a Black Sea regional network for investigative journalism. The network’s secretariat will be based at the University of Georgia.
👥 The festival is open to journalists, editors, freelancers, students, lecturers, fact-checkers, OSINT and data specialists, as well as representatives of civil society and international organizations and diplomats.
