PLEASE NOTE that we are only looking for actors of Hispanic descent for this production, but roles are open to all body types, ableness, experience levels, and genders. Come audition for this poetic and intriguing Pulitzer-Prize nominated play about family legacy and service by the book writer of In The Heights.

Tracing the legacy of war through three generations of a Puerto Rican family, the play focuses on nineteen-year-old Elliot, a recently anointed hometown hero who returns from Iraq with a leg injury and a difficult question: Will he go back to war a second time? While on leave, Elliot learns the stories of his father and grandfather who served in Korea and Vietnam before him.
Auditions are held in the Red Room of the Historic Masonic Temple (700 N. Madison, Bay City). Production dates are May 29th-31st. Please note that due to stairs in our building leading to the entrance and restrooms, our historic space may not be accessible for some.
