Join us at Open Arms Fest Oslo! 🇳🇴Open Arms Fest 2026 is a travelling Ukrainian festival bringing together contemporary culture, innovative technology and conversations about identity, freedom and security. It connects Ukrainian experiences, ideas and people with Norwegian authorities and society.
The initiative is organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ukrainian embassies in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Estonia, the Ukrainian Institute, Victory Drones, Victory Neurones, the Ukrainian Council of Defense Industry and MITS Capital. Its aim is to share the culture and experience that give Ukraine the strength to withstand a much larger enemy.
Open Arms Fest presents contemporary Ukrainian art and knowledge as a space for examining national identity and the transformation of cultural symbols in a radically altered reality.
Through public events and an exhibition, the festival explores how culture not only bears witness to historical upheaval but also shapes a language of resilience, freedom and self-identification.
On 30–31 October, Skur 13 will host concerts, panel discussions and lectures. Meet speakers including Øystein Bogen, Vakhtang Kipiani and Ostap Ukrainets, and enjoy live performances by Dakh Daughters, NAZVA, Ziferblat and others.
