On 5 September 2026, Saturday at 6:00 PM, Kalamandir will host a one-of-a-kind celebration of Bengali music Onyo Gaaner Sondhe An Evening of Other Songs.
For the first time, Srikanta Acharya, Lopamudra Mitra, Subhamita Banerjee, Gautam Ghosal, Jayati Chakraborty, and Joy Sarkar will come together on stage to present a selection of original songs and Bengali film compositions that were created with love, but
did not receive the recognition they deserve.
For more than three decades, Bengali audiences have showered immense affection on these celebrated artistes and their music. This special evening promises to offer listeners an opportunity to rediscover some lesser-heard but unforgettable melodies.
Organised by Bengal Web Solution and supported by Metro Pharma, this event is a heartfelt tribute to the timeless beauty and unexplored treasures of Bengali music.
