Hi All, -The people have decided on Sunday 8th November for our first "Only-Fins" social meet up! We have suggested meeting at 9am as I know some of you will already have an early start to get there! -The venue as discussed will be the "Tusses Lure Division" stretch at Hawkesbury Junction (Sutton Stop) where the Oxford and Coventry canals merge. -There is free parking at the venue and is canal-side. There is also The Greyhound Inn Pub, right next to it where we can have a pint and a chat afterwards (CV6 6DF) -For those who would like a bit of breakfast before we meet, myself an Ian will meet at 8am in McDonald's Bermuda Park St Davids Way, Bedworth, Nuneaton CV10 7SD and all are welcome to join. -"Tusses" have said they will also create a competition for us through their members area of the App where we can submit catches. This is optional and can just be filled for fun. No one is obligated to participate in this side of things if you don't want to. We don't want to put people off by making it a full-on competition as appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea! If you do wish to participate however, please bring a soft mat and a recognised fish measure for submitting catches. -Day tickets will be £5 each, purchased before the day (or £25 for a years membership) from https://tussesluredivisionandanglingclub.base44.app/ Look forward to meeting you all!
