About this Event
Come prepared to teach, coach, encourage and challenge our newer DREs. Share your experience, including the lessons learned from difficult cases. Ask questions rather than always providing answers. Help students think through their observations and conclusions. Most importantly, create an environment where DREs are comfortable asking questions and admitting when they are uncertain.
The success of One Year Later will depend heavily on the interaction between our experienced instructors and newer DREs. We are not recreating DRE School—we are helping these DREs grow beyond it.
Instructor Expenses
CDOT will provide:
- Hotel lodging for Tuesday night
- Lunch on Tuesday
- Dinner on Tuesday
- Breakfast Wednesday morning through the hotel
No additional compensation, mileage, per diem, or other reimbursement will be provided.
Instructor participation is limited, and instructors should plan to attend the entire program, including the Tuesday morning instructor meeting and all scheduled training activities.
