Get ready for a musical journey across borders, genres and traditions, as three exceptional acts from Cyprus, Germany and Austria take the stage for a night of exciting and unexpected sounds of musical encounters.
Cypriot trio Monsieur Doumani blend the island’s rich musical heritage with psychedelic folk, jazz, rock and experimental sounds, creating a bold and contemporary take on Mediterranean music.
Berlin-based vocalist Erik Leuthäuser, accompanied by pianist Julius Windisch, brings together jazz and dream pop in an intimate and expressive sound, combining sophisticated improvisation with an increasingly prominent role for the German language.
Linz-based duo beauchamp*geissler explores the boundaries of experimental pop and electronica, weaving together bass guitar, keyboards, electronics and trilingual vocals into a playful, free-form musical landscape.
Three distinct musical worlds, one shared stage. After presenting their individual programmes, the artists will come together for a unique collaborative finale, bringing their different sounds and creative energies into an exciting musical dialogue.
You can look forward to an evening that celebrates musical diversity and creativity.
The concert is a joint event of the Embassies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland and the Goethe-Institut Cyprus, with the kind support of the Charles Haimoff Foundation.
A wine reception will follow the concert.
