One Book Project: Philosophy for Children

In partnership with CSUB, this educational program is led by philosophy professor Dr. Saner and her student, Ms. Jessica Killmer. Through both stories and fun thought experiments, children ages 8-13 will explore big questions about friendship, fairness, creativity, identity, and more. Participants will build critical thinking, communication, and reasoning skills while sharing ideas, considering different perspectives in a welcoming environment where curiosity is encouraged!
The featured book for this event is "More Than Words: So Many Ways to Say What We Mean" by Roz MacLean.
