Once Upon a Craft is a themed storytime and art experience designed for young creators and their grown-ups. Each session features a carefully chosen story followed by a guided art project inspired by the book and monthly theme. Our projects rotate throughout the year. Some, like canvas paintings and mixed media creations, will go home with you the very same day. Others may be pottery pieces that will stay at the studio to be kiln-fired and glazed, then picked up at a later date once they’re finished and ready to shine.
This relaxed, interactive event encourages creativity, listening, and hands-on exploration in a welcoming studio environment. Projects are process-focused rather than “perfect,” making it a wonderful fit for preschool-aged children while still engaging for slightly older kids who love stories and creating art. Caregivers are invited to stay, participate, and make special memories alongside their little artists.
Pricing varies depending on the monthly project, and the cost will always be listed below along with a description of that month’s craft. A $5 deposit will be required at sign up with the remaining balance due on the day of the event.
