About this Event
Gurls on the Go!
A book club at the club, for readers who like to wander.
Gurls on the Go is a monthly book club at Tschüss hosted by Walter Schlect, bringing together fiction, nightlife, queer life, art, and whatever else we feel like talking about.
For our November meeting, we’re reading On the Calculation of Volume I by Solvej Balle, translated by Barbara J. Havel. The novel follows a bookseller living in France who finds herself trapped in November 18, a single day repeating endlessly. As time stands still, she begins to question its rhythms, rituals, and the strange possibilities of repetition.
Come having read the book, come with thoughts, come ready to discuss. Drinks available at the bar.
