A retrospective photography exhibit of Artichoke Dance Company's Immersive Performance Tours of Gowanus by Robin Michals.About this Event
The exhibit is free and open to the public on Saturdays, Sept 12-Oct 3 from 1-5pm with different activities each week. If you wish to attend any of the timed activities, such as the film showing or conversation, please reserve a ticket for that day.
Saturday, September 12
- 2-2:30pm: Film showing of excerpts from performance tours 2021-2026
- 2:30-4:30: Join a guided tour using the Gowanus Augmented Reality Walking Tour App for animated virtual environments of the past as visual overlays on the canalscape, and the Underground Waterways Soundwalk, where voices from the past murmur and sing led by Sarah Drury, Project Director.

- 3-4:30pm: Role of the Arts in Change Making: a conversation with artists, cultural workers and activists centered on how the arts are contributing to creating positive change in communities in New York City in collaboration with Naturally Occurring Cultural Districts of New York (NOCY-NY).
