About this Event
Autumn is an apt time to reflect on change, loss and in-turning. Join retired naturopathic doctor and outdoor educator Leslie Solomonian for an outdoor, nature-based workshop on grief, transition, and acceptance.
This event will include a mindfulness practice, and guided reflections on our personal and collective experiences with loss and change, using the change of seasons as metaphor. Leave feeling more at peace, and more connected to the natural world of which we are all a part.
Gather at the Streetsville Memorial Park Bridge. Rain or shine - come dressed for the conditions! A location will be chosen based on the mobility needs of the group.
Pay-what-you-can ($20 minimum suggested); cash preferred, or etransfer to [email protected]. 10% of proceeds will be donated to the Indigenous Network.
(Participation in this walk is at your own risk. We will be in a public park, with all the risks therein - water, potentially irritating plants and insects, other humans, uneven terrain. No information shared constitutes medical advice. You accept all risk of injury or loss.)
