You’ll have the opportunity to sign up to try out physical fitness tests like lifting a ladder and assembling equipment stored on our fire engines, this will help you explore the fitness levels required for the firefighter role.
This session also includes an informative presentation to help you learn more about the role, the responsibilities involved, and the recruitment process. You’ll also be able to speak directly with experienced firefighters and ask any questions you may have about the role and what it’s like to serve your local community as an On-Call Firefighter.
