About this Event
Join colleagues from across Birmingham and Solihull for The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Facilitator Programme. This course prepares experienced professionals and experts by experience to facilitate the nationally recognised training designed to improve health and social care professionals' understanding of learning disability and autism.
During the programme, participants will:
- Develop the skills needed to effectively facilitate Oliver McGowan training sessions.
- Learn how to create engaging and inclusive learning environments.
- Gain confidence in delivering key content and managing group discussions.
- Understand the principles of co-delivery and the importance of lived experience.
- Support the delivery of high-quality mandatory training across the BSol system.
Following successful completion, participants will be eligible to support the delivery of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training within their organisation and across Birmingham and Solihull.
Who should attend?
Suitable for approved trainers, educators, health and social care professionals, and experts by experience who have been nominated to become facilitators within their organisation.
