Older Persons Day has been created to bring together local services, charities, voluntary organisations, support groups and businesses in one welcoming space for older people, their families, carers and local residents across Mansfield & Ashfield.The aim of the event is to make it easier for people to access helpful information, advice and support by speaking face-to-face with representatives from local organisations. We know that many older people, families and unpaid carers may not always know what help is available locally, or where to turn when they need support. This event is designed to make that information more accessible, visible and community focused.
