We will cover a multitude of common health conditions, and a whole host of back issues too – both NSBP (non-specific back pain), and diagnosed conditions. Experience chair, wall and many other exercises / asana, be more confident in addressing common health conditions and health related issues. Many of the back care exercises are somatic based. We also cover pain, acute pain vs chronic pain, how chronic pain comes from the brain, pain management techniques, poly vagal theory, nervous system, stress, trauma, sensitisation, protection, posture and emotions in relation to pain as well as sensory motor amnesia. We also discuss interoception, language of embodiment & student empowerment. This course includes all associated anatomy & physiology.
This course will widen your audience, expand your exercise and asana selection, inform all of your teaching; your cues, your assists, the language you use and encourage you to think outside the box.
