(October 3rd-4th)We are happy to announce that Gigabites Cafe is excited to present its first Old World GT taking place over 2 days on October 3rd and 4th at Gigabites Cafe in Marietta.
This will be a 2,000 point event using the square based comp. We will also be using the updated Renegades lists as published by Squarebased.
To allow all players to be prepared we will be using the versions of the Squarebased Comp and Renegade rules as published on Saturday September 19th at 11.59pm and all GW published materials published before 11.59pm on Saturday September 19th. If there is an emergency errata (see Settra's fury errata) that will be used.
We will be playing 3 rounds on Saturday 3rd and 2 rounds on Sunday 4th. The aim on both days will be to open the doors at 9am with the first round to begin at 10am. Each round will last 2 hours 30 minutes.
Scoring:
There will be a maximum of 20 points for each round available for a total of 100 battle points
There will be a paint score of a maximum of 20 points (rubric to follow)
There will be a maximum of 20 points for Sportsmanship
There will be a maximum of 10 points for army fluff written for your army.
Prizes:
There will be awards for the top 3 players based on overall score.
Additional prizes will be offer to best overall General outside of the top 3 and best painted outside of the top 3
Scenarios:
These will be published before September 14th and will be drawn from the Matched Play Guide.
