Join us for a Trio of Trios!Clarinetist Ben Bokor, cellist Erin Snedecor, and pianist Elizabeth Hill present an evening of trios.
Clarinet Trio in A minor, Op. 114 by Johannes Brahms
Fantasy Trio, Op. 26 by Robert Muczynski
Trio for Clarinet, Cello, and Piano by Nino Rota
Brahms’s trio is celebrated for its lush, flowing melodies woven seamlessly among the clarinet, cello, and piano.
Muczynski’s Fantasy Trio offers a striking contrast, driven by bold, energetic, and punchy rhythms.
Nino Rota—best known for his score to The Godfather—composed his trio in 1973, infusing it with a charming, cinematic character that reflects his signature style.
