WILLKOMMEN to TAMPA's very own Festival of Gemütlichkeit! Oktoberfest Tampa returns for it's 16th Annual celebration and for 3 full days, will transform Tampa’s downtown Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park into the city’s largest, waterfront beer garden. Soak in the sprawling downtown views and beautiful sunsets as the park buzzes with live music, dancing, alphorns, dirndls, lederhosen - and of course, beer!
A variety of beers from traditional German beers will be available. Enjoy authentic Bavarian fare and oompah your way to watch the live entertainment and competitions from the Outrageous Bavarian Games.
Green Bench Brewing proudly brewed our Oktoberfest Tampa Dunkel, also on tap will their Pils, the Hefeweizen, and FestBier.
We will also be serving Coppertail Brewing, Oktoberfest märzen and Dunk.
Also expect to find Express Beer lanes, as well as an Urban 312 Wheat from Goose Island. Ciders, seltzers and wine, too!
Festival goers are encouraged to participate in the festival's own Outrageous Bavarian Games that foster fun challenges to win cool prizes and more importantly, the bragging rights. The Outrageous Bavarian Games are free to play. Saturday afternoon is jam-packed with some of our biggest competitions.
The Beard and Mustache competition is one of the biggest in the region, and the Mr. & Mrs. Oktoberfest are completely unique from any other challenge we've seen. Hoist your stein with us and watch one of Tampa's most engaging personal competitions available throughout the year!
Other challenges include: Stein Hoisting, Keg stacking, Brat Toss, Tug-O-War, Carry the Wench and much more.
Oktoberfest Tampa is a family-friendly event with it's own KINDER ZONE featuring live entertainment all weekend long by Gigi & Friends with theater performances, stage acts, bubbles and more! Free face painting is offered by the event provided by the amazing Face Painting Brittni!

Every year, entrance to the event is free for men and women of the Armed Forces (active or retired) and any first responders of the City of Tampa (TPD, TFR, EMS) for you and your spouse. Simply show your proper ID at the entry gate.
