The ground-breaking musical that set the stage for all that followed! Rodgers & Hammerstein's exuberant classic is a lively, tuneful musical full of cowboys, farmers, romance and fearless optimism. Oklahoma! follows a tight-knit community as they come together to confront an outsider, set within the rugged frontier that defined early America. Featuring unforgettable songs including – Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top, I Cain’t Say No, People Will Say We’re in Love, The Farmer and the Cowman and, of course, the evergreen title song Oklahoma.
Produced by visionary Lee Semley Theatre Productions — the company that brought you Come from Away, The Phantom of the Opera, Oliver and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie — this bold new production breathes fresh life into a truly timeless story.
[This amateur production of OKLAHOMA! is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk]
