Calling all Earth Science explorers: Join the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological Survey for Ohio Geology Discovery Day.This event is free and perfect for learners of all ages who are excited about rocks, minerals, fossils and more. During the open house hours of 10:00 am–2:00 pm, visitors can engage in hands-on learning activities throughout the H. R. Collins Laboratory at Alum Creek State Park.
Visitors can deepen their knowledge of Earth Science by attending special guided tours of this unique facility geared for celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and Ohio’s rich geologic heritage.
