About this Event
Casa Círculo Traditions invites guests to an afternoon of art, remembrance, and cultural learning inspired by Día de los Muertos traditions.
The program introduces the meaning of the ofrenda, calavera imagery, cempasúchil-inspired marigold art, traditional music, and the role of remembrance in Día de los Muertos.
Rather than treating the tradition as a costume theme or photo backdrop, the event places cultural explanation before creative activity.
Guests move through three parts:
Learn - understand the role of the ofrenda and key symbols.
Create - make calavera-inspired art and paper marigolds.
Experience - enjoy live or recorded traditional music, pan de muerto, and a relaxed community closing.
A culturally knowledgeable facilitator should lead or review the educational content before publication.
