An evening celebrating surf, skate, outdoor adventure and coastal culture through independent film.About this Event
Offshore Art & Film Festival returns to Montauk for its fifth year, bringing together independent filmmakers, artists and the local community for two nights of film, music and conversation.
Join us for Surf & Skate Night at the Montauk Playhouse on Saturday, October 24.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, with live music and photos at the Offshore step-and-repeat before the films begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
Saturday’s program features six films celebrating surf, skate, outdoor adventure and coastal culture, with work from filmmakers both near and far. The evening culminates with the featured closing film, The Athletes, filmed in Montauk and centered on FLOW’s therapeutic surf program for children and young adults with Down syndrome and autism.
The evening concludes with a filmmaker Q&A, giving audiences an opportunity to hear directly from participating filmmakers about their work.
