About:
Adventure outdoor charity Got To Get Out is opening a stunning 'Got To Get A Bike' experience inside (and with thanks to!) Shore City Shopping Centre, Takapuna, Auckland.
This innovative experiential space features a huge display of fully restored retro and vintage bikes, refurbished bikes to buy, space to chill (on recycled furniture mostly sourced from Zero Waste Hubs), and a full workshop.
The brand-new workshop tools and free safety-checks are provided with huge thanks to Auckland Council.
Key times:
- 545pm Karakia (official blessing) from Ngati Manuhiri (all wait outside please and follow all instructions)
- 6pm venue is now open, mix mingle and look around, light refreshments,
- 630pm speeches / welcomes
- 8pm wrap.
Expect some speeches, music (from our fave, DJ Groove Amanda), and great people to meet.
Parking:
Suggest parking in the Shore City 2hr free parking. You can leave after 8pm no problem. Or, there is plenty of street parking on Como St and nearby.
