About this Event
Secretary Salazar’s distinguished career has given him a unique perspective on many of the defining issues of our time. He has served as United States Senator from Colorado, Attorney General of Colorado, U.S. Secretary of the Interior under President Barack Obama, and most recently as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico.
Drawing on decades of public service—and a family history in Colorado’s San Luis Valley dating back centuries—Secretary Salazar will share insights on U.S.–Mexico relations, the border, immigration, public service, and the personal experiences that inspired his new book, Borderlands: My Fight for an Inclusive America.
The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. A fireside chat with Secretary Salazar will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by audience questions and book signing.
