The Official Class Ring Ceremony is a meaningful Carolina tradition that honors the accomplishments of students and alumni who have earned the right to wear the official University of North Carolina class ring. Held each semester, the ceremony celebrates your journey with ring presentations, inspiring speakers and the cherished tradition of dipping your ring in Old Well water, a symbolic moment that marks your lifelong connection to Carolina.
Students and alumni who purchase an official class ring by Oct. 2 will have their ring presented during the ceremony.
