S1E2 / IMPRO & RECORDING SESSION
Jazz / Funk / Soul improvisation

OFF THE RECORD
S1E2 / IMPRO & RECORDING SESSION
Jazz / Funk / Soul improvisation
Every Wednesday evening, OFF THE RECORD brings together musicians from the local jazz and groove scene for an improvisation-based recording session. There’s no pre-recorded setlist: the musicians react to each other’s ideas, and the music takes shape right there and then, just an arm’s length away from the audience.
We record every session, so whatever is created during the evening can live on later through the recording.
During the event the musicians take over the DJ booth and spin tracks from their own record collections.
