OFF THE APPS: 40s + 50s-ish
Because meeting someone shouldn't require an algorithm.
There are plenty of interesting single people in Western Colorado.
The problem is actually ending up in the same place at the same time.
That's where Off the Apps comes in.
This new real-life social series is designed to make it easier for single people to meet naturally, without speed dating, forced matchmaking or spending another evening swiping through profiles.
This edition is for the 40s + 50s-ish crowd.
And yes, the “ish” is intentional.
We're creating a general age range, not checking birth certificates at the door. If you're a little outside the range and this feels like your crowd, you're welcome.
THIS IS A SINGLES SOCIAL — NOT A DATING AUDITION.
Everyone in the room will have one thing in common:
They're single.
What happens after that is entirely up to you.
Meet someone you'd like to date.
Meet someone you'd like to grab coffee with.
Meet a new hiking buddy.
Expand your circle.
Have a great conversation with someone you never would have encountered otherwise.
Or just enjoy being out with other single adults for the evening.
We'll provide a relaxed atmosphere and enough light structure to make introductions easier.
You take it from there.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Coming alone is encouraged.
You won't be the only one.
This isn't speed dating.
No rotations, timers or rapid-fire interviews.
We're aiming for balance.
Registration will be intentionally managed with the goal of creating a relatively balanced mix of men and women. Exact ratios can't be guaranteed.
Space is intentionally limited.
We want a gathering where people can actually talk and connect.
Your ticket includes ONE DRINK TICKET
Additional beverages will be available for purchase.
You don't have to be looking for “the one.”
You just have to be open to meeting someone new.
Off the Apps is launching with two initial gatherings: 20s + 30s-ish and 40s + 50s-ish, with additional events and age groups possible as the community grows.
