Patient Support Meeting:If you have had a personal experience with Oesophageal or Stomach Cancer, we would like to invite you and your guest to attend our next Regional Support / Wellness Meeting on Saturday 14th November 2026 in the Maldron Hotel, Sandy Road, Galway.
The aim of this meeting is for people affected by Oesophageal Cancer or Stomach Cancer to meet others in similar circumstances and to get some practical tips from both the experts and the experienced.
We are extending this invitation to people with a Stomach Cancer diagnosis as part of our Stomach Cancer Pilot Scheme.
This has been spearheaded by the Board of OCF and is based on a demand from Stomach Cancer survivors whose challenges post-surgery mirror those of Oesophageal Cancer survivors in terms of diet, exercise, sleep and wellbeing.

Our agenda is always very practical and patient centred, and topics covered will include diet, sleep, exercise and wellbeing.
