OdySea Aquarium is turning 10 — and the celebration lasts all summer long! Guests are invited to dive into a season filled with immersive experiences, exciting surprises, and unforgettable under‑the‑sea birthday fun.From Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day (May 23 – Sept. 6), the Aquarium transforms into a whimsical birthday wonderland. Playful décor and vibrant photo‑op scenes featuring sea lions, otters, penguins, and other fan‑favorite animals sporting colorful birthday hats bring the party to life at every turn. Guests may even encounter surprise giveaways from OdySea’s roaming Prize Patrol Team or meet penguin mascots Pip & Polly dressed in their birthday best.
Adding to the excitement, two brand‑new coral exhibits make their debut in mid‑June, offering even more opportunities for wonder, discovery, and connection with the ocean world. It’s the perfect way to celebrate a decade of adventure while exploring world‑class exhibits and incredible marine life in a one‑of‑a‑kind birthday setting.

LIMITED-TIME Behind-the-Scenes Tour at OdySea Aquarium: May 30 – July 24th
As part of OdySea Aquarium’s 10‑Year Birthday Celebration, guests are invited to step behind the curtain and experience the Aquarium like never before with an all‑new, limited‑time Behind‑the‑Scenes Tour created exclusively for this summer’s milestone event.
This immersive tour takes guests beyond the exhibits and into rarely seen spaces, offering an intimate look at the extraordinary work that brings the Aquarium to life each day. Explore delicate jellyfish propagation and specialized habitats, wander through vibrant coral nurseries, and venture into the backstage areas high above Shark Waters — OdySea’s largest and most breathtaking exhibit.
With exclusive access comes exclusive insight. Guests will gain a deeper understanding of the animals in our care — from species‑specific adaptations and behaviors to the unique personalities that make each one unforgettable. Guests will also get a look at the behind‑the‑scenes habitats and systems that help support marine life at the Aquarium.
