NYC-based jazz great Adrian Cunningham returns for his annual Indianapolis concert with his NYC-based band mates. Their concert will again pull from the huge Great American Songbook and other jazz classics featuring Hoosier greats Hoagy Carmichael and Cole Porter, among many others. We all know Adrian’s wit as a frontman.
The traditional Oktoberfest Celebration includes great brats, sausages, and much more great German food, along with varietal beers and special commemorative beer steins!
About Adrian Cunningham: Cunningham has become a fixture on the Indy jazz calendar coming for his initial visit in June 2021 and returning one or twice each year thereafter. An Australian native, Adrian is now based in Spain with his wife and young child touring the US and European circuits extensively. His top notch musicianship is matched with his showmanship to provide a highly entertaining evening.
About Emily Asher: Asher is a NYC based trombonist and vocalist who specializes in the songs of Hoosier great Hoagy Carmichael and other jazz classics from the Swing Era. She and Cunningham are long-time friends playing together regularly throughout NYC and beyond. This will be Emily's fourth Indy performance.
