At Sedona United Methodist Church, we believe stewardship is about much more than money. It is about the way we live with all that has been entrusted to us.Throughout October, we will explore stewardship through the lens of our United Methodist faith and Wesleyan tradition. We will reflect on how we use our time, talents, resources, relationships, and care for creation as expressions of our love for God and our neighbors.
John Wesley understood generosity as an essential part of discipleship—not simply something we do when asked, but a way of living that grows out of gratitude, compassion, and a desire to participate in God's work in the world. United Methodists believe that when we share what we have, we become part of something larger than ourselves: caring for our communities, seeking justice, responding to human need, and helping transform the world through love.
This October, join us as we explore what it means to live with open hands and open hearts. Together, we will consider how generosity can move us beyond scarcity and fear and toward gratitude, abundance, connection, and hope.
Stewardship is not about what the church wants from us. It is about discovering what God can do through us—together.
Join us Sundays at 9:00 AM in The New Room as we explore what it means to live generously and faithfully in the world. All are welcome.
