About this Event
Dive into a chill night of book talk and good vibes as we decode I Gave You Eyes and You Looked Toward Darkness together!
Join us in October for the Book Club Society of the Strange, where weird tales and wild minds meet in person!
Our October book club pick is I Gave You Eyes and You Looked Toward Darkness !! A wildly surreal love story in which a lobster survives the Titanic, falls in love with the woman who ate his father, and searches for her across the world, exploring desire, identity, and impossible love.
Join us to chat about the book, share your thoughts, and meet other readers in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Date: 5th October
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Fossgate Tap, York
Accessibility
Please note that the room we will be using is located high up in the building and is only accessible via several flights of stairs. Unfortunately there is no step-free access due to the age of the building. The space itself is a private and quiet room, so it will be easy to hear and take part in the discussion once upstairs.
