Theme - this month we'll be exploring communication tools for conscious intimacy - the RBDSMAF conversation

• What makes for great experiences in exploring new connections or expanding existing ones
• Common pitfalls and where it's gone wrong
• How to establish safety, consent and deep connection through the RBSDMAF conversation
• Practice the framework and discussing how you can use this framework in casual encounters, group play, and ongoing relationships
  

This is one of the practical tools that I have used a TON since I learnt it - in all kinds of different circumstances. It may sound clinical, but we'll discuss how to make it fun and playful and part of the intimacy journey. And how it can be applied in lots of different circumstances.

You know that conversation that happens in the hot tub late at night on a girls' trip - juicy, honest, a little vulnerable, the one that has you all crying and laughing? That's where we start.

Sex Club is a monthly gathering for women and femme-identifying people who want to talk openly, learn and genuinely connect around sex, intimacy and relationships.

Think book club, but for sex. Part women's circle, part embodied workshop, part late-night sleepover. A space to explore sex and intimacy through honest conversation, skill-building and connection.

Why Sex? I really do mean sex in the broadest expression of the word - your erotic energy, your life force, your connection and intimacy with self as well as others. I think these are core pillars of a happy life that we are taught so little about, and often don’t even discuss fully with friends.

We meet monthly. Each session weaves together:

→ Authentic relating style exercises - interactive, paired and group-based practices designed to deepen connection with yourself and others

→ Embodied learning and play - interactive exercises and practices that get us out of our heads and into our bodies. We explore topics like boundaries, desires, communication and pleasure through discussion, movement and group activities

→ Honest conversation - the kind you might not have anywhere else. A space where you can speak freely and confidentially, even about the things you'd never say in your usual circles

→ Laughter, tears, silliness - the kind of community that shows up for each other with joy and love, and isn't afraid of the harder conversations.

Some exercises may involve touch. These are always fully optional and introduced with clear, practiced consent and boundary-setting.

This is also, it turns out, an excellent environment for fellow people-pleasers to practise saying no, and for all of us to get better at asking for what we want. .

We’ll begin by setting the container together: agreements around confidentiality, consent and how we show up for each other.

This is the beginning of an ongoing community, and founding members will have a special role in shaping it.

There will be two types of in person meetings:

• The core monthly Sex Club meeting - usually 3rd Tuesday of the month
• A monthly deep dive workshop - optional but open to Sex Club members only

The deep dive workshops will be a chance to go deeper into specific topics and learn something new. These will be for members only so that we can use the safety we’ve built as a group, to go deep in just an evening. Topics will be based on those which members have voted they are most interested in:

• The art of conflict and repair
• Intro to power play
• Impact play / spanking / flogging
• Exploring sex toys
• Urban Tantra practices (breath & energy)
• Erotic Blueprints
• Relationship design
• Giving amazing head… and more!

There'll also be the online community with resources, ongoing conversations and Q&A, and opportunities for more informal social gatherings. Consider this the the group you can share shamelessly with, ask unabashedly, and invite to all those weird and wonderful events!

Women and femme-identifying people who:

→ Want to (re)prioritise pleasure, connection, sex and intimacy in their lives

→ Are craving open, candid, judgment-free conversations about relationships and desire

→ Want to learn - and are open to being a little uncomfortable in the process

→ Are looking for genuine community with like-minded, growth-oriented women

All sexual orientations, relationship structures and experience levels welcome. No version of sexuality is more enlightened than another here - it's about getting to know and embody your most authentic self. This is a space for authenticity, not performance.

Hi, I’m Simone. I’m a Somatica-trained sex and relationship coach and the founder of Empowered Pleasure. Before this, I spent 15 years in business strategy, investment and leadership. My work lives at the intersection of the erotic and the everyday, and I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, desires and authentic expression.

I’ve been running the original Sex Club as a personal project for 18 months - we’ve cried, we’ve laughed, we’ve partied, we’ve even co-created our own retreat, and have ended up as genuinely close friends.
