What a year 2026 has been for Sport so far in Scotland! Scotland Men qualifying for the World Cup, and Glasgow hosting the Commonwealth Games has unified the nation and highlighted the importance of sport and physical activity for everyone. In celebration of this, the Scottish Government has invested £40 million pounds across Scotland to support the growth and development of sport and physical activity.
For this year only, liveArgyll are in a position to host an extended Summer of Sport 2026 with more highly subsidised activity for young people across the Active Schools and Sport service. The Active Schools October Multi-Sports Camps sell out quickly so booking ealry is advised to avoid disappointment!
We are delighted to continue with our Swim School, targeting swimming club members of both primary & secondary school age. Sessions will be led by Lead Coach Stuart McQuaker.
Participants will undertake both land & pool based sesssions, including mental and race preparation throughout the week.
CAMP DATES AND TIMES:
Wednesday 14th Oct 2026, 7.00 - 9.45am
Thursday 15th Oct 2026, 7.00 - 9.45am
Friday 16th Oct 2026, 7.00 - 9.45am
All sessions will be drop off @ the pool.
Wednesday/Thursday - pick up @ Vic Hall 0945am
Friday - pick up @ Conference Room @ 0945am.
