Join us for our October 2026 Plein Air in the Parks session on:📅 Sunday, October 11th at 10:00 AM
📍 Prospect Park, 1584 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265
We’ll start with a casual welcome + meet and greet, followed by a short introduction to the plein air painting method. Then we’ll each find our own space in the park and begin creating at our own pace.
A few quick notes about our sessions:
These are not guided workshops, but open, independent painting time with a community of artists around you. All experience levels are welcome and questions, conversations, and shared advice are part of the experience.
Most painters spend about 1–2 hours working, but you're welcome to stay as long as you need.
Supplies:
Bring your own painting setup if you can, or I will have a limited amount of supplies available.
Don’t forget to bring:
Sunscreen, a chair or blanket, easel (if you use one), water, and anything else you need to paint comfortably outdoors.
This is about slowing down, showing up, and letting the landscape meet us where we are.
Hope to see you there... feel free to share!
This project is supported by Quad City Arts re-granting program Arts Dollars, supported by the Illinois Arts Council Agency, the Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, and the Quad Cities Community Foundation - Isabel Bloom Art Education Endowment.
