Join us for our first official parking lot club race!When - Sunday, October 18. Practice and registration from 9-10:30am. Mandatory drivers' meeting at 10:45am with racing starting shortly after that.
Where - Moose Family Center - 934 Waterlick Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24501. Back parking lot.
Timing system - We use the MyLaps timing system. If you haven't purchased a MyLaps transponder yet, Stone Blue Hobbies in town offers a trade in program for you old iLaps transponders, contact them for further details. Our MyLaps systems uses the newest RC4 decoder running firmware 4.5. Per the MyLaps website, compatible transponders are RC4 3-wire, RC4 Hybrid and RC4 Pro models. Make sure during your practice time that you verify your transponder is working properly.
Racing is $10 for club members. $20 for non-members. $5 for each additional class, up to 3 classes.

*** Please note, as this is our first real parking lot race, don't get hung up on rules. If you have something similar, bring it out and we'll figure it out. Classes and rules will be a moving target for these first few races.
There is limited power on site and we'll need to test out how much it can supply. For this first race, it'll be reserved for the timing system and computer. Please bring a generator if you have one or borrow some power from your pit neighbor.
There are 2 porta johns on site for our use.
