Join us Friday, October 30th at 6:30 PM for our monthly Support Orlando Shelters coalition meeting at Broadway United Methodist Church in Lake Eola Heights!This month, our primary presentation will feature Sofia Rivas, Housing Director at The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia. Sofia oversees six housing programs serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout Volusia County. She will share insights into housing programs, case management, and supportive services that help people move toward stability and permanent housing.
We will also welcome Tiffany Moore Russell, Orange County Clerk of Courts and candidate for Orange County Mayor, for a brief introduction to the policies and priorities she is advancing in her campaign, including affordable housing, lowering the cost of living, workforce development, transportation, public safety, and responsible growth.
Join us to learn from local leaders, connect with fellow advocates, and continue organizing for compassionate solutions that ensure our unhoused neighbors have access to shelter, housing, and essential support.
