We are honored to have Mike Howell share his photography expertise with us.Originally from the Mobile and Baldwin County area of Alabama, Michael Howell brings more than 20 years of experience and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors to his photography. After a career as a Business Manager overseeing power plant construction projects, Michael has been able to devote more time to his passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world.
His photographic journey has taken him across the Western United States, where he lived and traveled for 25 years. Those experiences provided countless opportunities to explore and photograph remote, off-the-beaten-path locations, with a particular focus on landscapes, nature, and the unique character of the places he encountered.
Now back on the Gulf Coast, Michael is looking forward to applying the skills and perspective developed through years of Western landscape photography to a new environment. He is especially interested in discovering the distinctive landscapes, wildlife, coastal scenery, and natural beauty of the Gulf Coast while continuing to grow and refine his craft.
