If you have an interest in catfishes and/or the freshwater fishes of africa, you are welcome to join us for the premiere of the talk ‘Synodontis (squeaker catfishes) of the I’upemba National Park (Democratic Republic of the Congo)’.This talk will be presented by Synodontis enthusiast Mr. David Marshall, who has had many articles on squeaker catfishes published in aquarium magazines.
David tells us that the talk will be presented in two parts. the first part will be an overview of the genus Synodontis. the second part will feature David's experiences in keeping 12 well-known Synodontis species that call the park home.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 7th October in the Mill Suite (top floor) at Pickering Memorial Hall, N.yorks. YO18 8AA. 7:00p.m. starting time.
Open table show for any variety of catfish. Y.A.A.S. rules and standards apply. 10p per entry.
Sales table for the selling of spare fish and aquatic items only. 10% commission will be taken on all fish and items sold.
Admission £2, including raffle tickets.
