🌟What's On?
👣Living History - Medieval Pilgrims
Monday 26 - Saturday 31 October.
Meet medieval pilgrims on their journey to the shrine of St William of York, discover their stories, and create your own wax votive just as pilgrims did centuries ago.
These sessions will run each day between:
10am – 12.30pm
1.30pm – 3.30pm
These sessions operate on a drop in basis, are included with a sightseeing ticket, and there is no pre-booking required.
🍃 Half Term with the Minster Gardeners
Monday 26 October & Tuesday 27 October
Help create homes for wildlife with autumn-themed activities, including building a bug hotel.
Drop in anytime between 10am -12pm.
Suitable for all ages and families.
🎵The Concert That Must Not Be Named
Experience a magical evening as iconic music from Harry Potter and more is brought to life on York Minster's magnificent Grand Organ.
Tickets for this concert are available through the York Minster box office.
Ticket prices: £20 standard adult, £10 under 27s.
🎬 Immersive Cinematic Experience
Discover the story of St William of York through a stunning film created using cutting-edge 3D scanning and gaming technology.
🎨 Creative Crafts
Design your own medieval-inspired stained glass window panel and help create a spectacular community display.
🎒 Backpacks & Trails
Borrow a free Little Explorer Backpack or take on a York Minster Quest Trail for a fun-filled family adventure.
Most activities are included with a sightseeing ticket and require no pre-booking.
Annual family passes start from just £20. Adult tickets include entry for up to four children (17 and under) for a whole year, meaning families can visit again and again while exploring tours, trails, exhibitions, the museum and more.
