Come join us for our meeting!After our short business meeting, we’ll learn about thrums, how to prepare them from wool roving, and how to knit them into your work.
Homework (practice piece): Using worsted-weight yarn and appropriately sized needles, CO 20 stitches and knit one inch. Bring your practice piece to the meeting. I’ll supply roving to create thrums, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you have some top or roving kicking around your stash with nowhere better to go!
After we practice making thrums and inserting them into our knitting, you’ll have your choice of three thrummed projects: mittens, slippers, or a headband.
