Yoga means “union” — a remembering of our connection to ourselves, to one another, and to something greater. This community class is a space to come home to that sense of connection — through the breath, through the body, and through shared presence.
Each class will begin with pranayama (breathwork) to settle your nervous system and begin to bring your awareness back into your body. You’ll then be guided through various asanas (postures). We’ll explore them through longer holds as well as through fluid, mindful movement. We’ll close out our practice with savasana (final resting pose) and a short meditation. Props and variations will be offered for all levels of experience. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you are welcome here.
At its heart, this class is about community. Practicing together reminds us that healing isn’t meant to be done in isolation. We are wired for connection, and this class offers an opportunity to remember that — to move and breathe alongside others, and to be held by the quiet power of shared experience.
