About this Event
Looking for a relaxing way to spend your Wednesday evening? Join us for Silent Book Club Libertyville at our favorite local indie bookstore, About Time Bookstore!
This month's event is a little different than our usual, as we'll be joined by @BookedInNorthShore for some fun journaling time. Attendees are more than welcome to bring their journal and their own stationary; some supplies will be provided and we'll also be selling some stationary kits at the event!
Don't want to join the journaling fun? No worries! We will still have our silent reading hour.
Just bring whatever you're currently reading, find a cozy spot in the bookstore, and enjoy a peaceful evening with a community of readers.
How the evening works:
📚 Arrive at 6pm if you want to mingle and journal, browse the bookstore, meet some bookish local friends, and settle in.
📖 We’ll spend an hour reading quietly together starting at 6:45pm (or continue journaling if you’d like)
💛 After reading, you're welcome to stay and chat, keep browsing About Time's amazing selection of books, swap book recommendations, check out the physical book swap —or head home if that's more your style!
Whether you're coming solo or bringing a friend, Silent Book Club is designed to be welcoming, low-key, and perfect for readers of every genre.
What to bring:
- If journaling: your supplies and journal! (we'll also have some supplies at the event)

- A book (or two, three, etc.) that you would want to swap! (not required)
