The Upper Hutt Martial Arts Academy is hosting its second open workshop for 2026. The workshop is being co-presented by Callum Forbes from the New Zealand Hapkido Federation (NZHF) and Mike O'Hara from the New Zealand Freestyle Martial Arts Association (NZFMA).

1115 - Session 2: Testing Self Defence Techniques Under Pressure. Presented by Callum Forbes.
1230 - Lunch
1300 - Session 3: Making a good defence with a weapon: how to
offend on defence and how to interrupt. Presented by Mike O'Hara.
This seminar is free of charge as part of our contribution to the wider martial arts community and is open to NZHF and NZFMA members and other interested martial artists from other styles and organisations.
