🧵✨ Learn the Art of KinusaigaThis one is for the people who love the look of quilting…but maybe not so much the sewing part! 😂🧵
Join us at Lala’s Craft Bowl on Monday, October 19 from 6–9 PM and discover Kinusaiga, a Japanese-inspired art technique sometimes described as “no-sew quilting.”
Using fabric pieces carefully tucked into a prepared design, you’ll build your picture section by section, mixing colours, patterns and textures to create that beautiful quilted look—without sewing a single stitch!
Choose from a selection of designs and fabrics and make yours completely your own. I will have a selection of images available for you to choose from and use, or you are welcome to find your own. If you find an image you like, forward it to me in advance of the event and I will size and print it and have it ready the night of the workshop.
No previous experience is necessary; I’ll walk you through the technique and help you along the way.

Pre-registration is preferred! You can pay in advance through the registration link, or contact us to reserve your spot and pay at the event. Drop-ins are welcome if space and supplies are available.
As always with our in-house workshops, spaces will be prioritized in this order: 1) Pre-paid registrations, 2) Pre-registered guests paying at the event, 3) Drop-ins.
If you love fabric, colour, puzzles, detail work—or just learning a craft you probably haven’t tried before—this is a fun one to add to your creative toolbox! ❤️
