About this Event
Join us at Objectspace for an Ockham Lecture with international guest Evi O. ahead of the 2026 Object Book Fair.
Evi O. – book designer, artist and publisher – has roamed the various publishing spheres for over 15 years and will share her philosophy of book design, her “investigations of the popular mass and notorious radicals and the mystery of a book’s seventh side that makes this form invincible.”
She says “the physical book form is an enduring human invention. It has democratised access to information and circulated knowledge, history, stories and culture across time and space. Critically utilised as a catalyst for social, cultural and political change, the form has also been capitalised by the commercial publishing industry.”
This lecture will take place in the gallery, spaces are limited.
