About this Event
Come and join us for an afternoon of community, connection, support and hope at the heart of Ireland!
Whether you are someone directly affected by OCD or a parent, friend or carer, this event is for you. Meet other community members and our OCD Ireland volunteers and experience an afternoon of awareness, understanding, support and hope. Enjoy some fresh air and gentle exercise, listen to lived experience stories of hope and recovery and take part in conversations to support you on your own journey whether you live with obsessive compulsive disorder or support someone directly affected by it.
The afternoon starts with a community walk at 1 pm and is followed by our main indoor event from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The highlight of our event, the "Lived Experience Segment" and "Audience Q&A" is aimed at spreading a message of hope and recovery and creating awareness and understanding. Listen to our three speakers sharing their own stories of what it's like to live with obsessive compulsive disorder and navigating a journey of recovery. Ask them questions live or send them anonymously.
The event will conclude with a community table of shared food.
