Kimberly Harris and Annie Waters presentOBSERVATIONS- two artists’ journeys through nature
Kimberly Harris presents lyrical watercolor landscapes and playful botanical interpretations in clay. Her watercolors draw inspiration from the lands of the Colorado Plateau. Clay is her favorite sculpture medium. “I love the physicality and flexibility of this material to create lyrical forms.”
Annie Waters’ abstract acrylic paintings explore the beauty found in decaying plant forms: the remains of stems, buds, flowers, and seeds. She is inspired by the splendor found in the discarded and the overlooked. “I want to tell you the name of everything; it’s Line and Shade and Hue.”
