Every family keepsake tells a story. This Family History Month, collect your favorite family heirlooms, gather around a communal table, enjoy dessert, and explore the cherished traditions, funny stories, surprising connections, and deep community ties that live within the seemingly ordinary objects we all possess—who knows what you might discover? All guests are asked to bring one object of personal value to discuss. Registration is FREE. Ice cream, coffee, tea, and other desserts will be provided. Attendance is limited to 20 guests—register now to reserve your spot!
Objects That Connect Us is part of the statewide Wisconsin History Makers Tour, which brings history directly to local communities in partnership with the opening of the new Wisconsin History Center in Madison. The Wisconsin History Makers Tour is presented by Culver's and made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
